Never played it but good to bring memories back =)
Impressed? I am!
This song kicks ASS, and for me to say this is no small feat. I am among the most hardcore metal fans out there, and I am often very picky about what I consider great metal and kick ass. THIS, my friend, is both.
The intro is very appropriate, but the best part is you don't even need it for the song to still be awesome. I also love the fact you kept the 8-bit synth as part of of the song, but it fit and it wasn't overused. In fact, every single part of the song it debuted in it kicked ass. The riffs are awesome, non-repetitive, the drum fills are awesome, the song maintains a heavy, ass-kicking, metal pace throughout. In fact, this song is almost like a hybrid of Jeff Loomis and Dethklok. I love it!
I can find nor nitpick anything reasonably negative from this song, and I declare it awesome. 10/10, 5/5. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go dunk my head in a bucket of water, as my hair is on fire and my face is melting
Thank you. I'm really glad I'm getting reviews from metal fans who are specific about their metal. I'm exactly the same way. There are some really, really great metal artists out there. And then there is a lot of just... shit.
Seriously, seeing reviews from dudes like you are the reason I still write metal.
Thanks for being an indie supporter, even if it's just because I wrote a single cool song :D
Uh....Uh....Uh.....
Yeah dude, I can totally dig this. This is like Steve Gadd funky. Not quite Geddy Lee funky, or Victor Wooten funky, but PRETTY damn funky. I only take off one point cuz I thought the trumpet synth sounded a bit off. I'm not dissing it cuz' it sounds stock or anything, but I think the attack should have been reduced just a tad bit as well as the hold on the wave. Idk it just doesn't sound completely in sync (I do not mean rhythmically) with the rest of the sounds. But minor detail. In the grand scheme of things, I can totally move to this song man. I'm gonna' go send this song to my friend who plays the bass and force him to learn it so I can jam to this song lol.
Great job man. Even though I only give ya a 9/10, I still give ya a 5/5 :D Righton and keep it smooth, man.
Haha I'm a bass player, I wrote the bassline on the... well, bass. And I think it's a really fun bass part to play. Let your friend know this song is in the key of D major (if I remember right) and good jammin!

Epic success
success so far...
Nice work
It feels a bit shallow though. idk how to describe it but it feels like there's a lack of mid in the main rif. It sounds very lacking for the majority of the song. It needs a bit more mastering, I feel. But other than that, it is very good. I like it
I know exactly what you mean. Maybe someday I'll remaster it. Thanks and God bless!

I sense some hostility in this song
Rap battle! Lol. The beat is pretty basic, could use some refining. I still like the slightly oldschool feel of this song, though. I like the overlay voices 1:45. The other voices and stuff after that were executed a bit poorly, but still fit with the song. And by executed poorly i mean that they seemed to drag. The song dragged a bit also, but overall i didn't really have any huge beefs.

yeah, I know what you mean the beat altho isn't made by me it's from the song Dead Wrong by Biggie and Eminem I'll make sure nothing drags on in the next 1=) thanks 4 the good review man=)
Hey now...
I like this. Got a very old school feel to it, back when rap was good....
The only weak point is the vocals, just the sound of them. At some points the vocals are a bit too sharp, but overall, i really like this song. The only down point is the length. i wish it were a bit longer. Nice work!
very true, thanks again man, love the good reviews=)
